Today we reached another milestone with over 400 tenure track, tenure or full professors are published on Faculty Radar. This has also been a busy week because “the word has gotten out” about this project. A LinkedIn post by Giorgos Kallis went viral, bringing in an enormous volume of web traffic that was not anticipated.
But Faculty Radar is still very young and learning. For instance, someone pointed out that the system missed positions at the Universitat de Girona. Those positions have now been added, but it shows that there are still gaps and issues that need to be resolved. If you see or know of positions that are not posted, please let us know so we can improve our monitoring protocols.
And finally, a huge thank you to everyone who has reached out to us with your support and encouragement. Please be patient as we improve the monitoring process. We aim to develop an alert system as soon as possible and are working on that right now.
