All 50 Public Spanish Universities are now monitored on Faculty Radar

Late last night, on October 3rd 2026, Faculty Radar reached a major milestone: all 50 public universities in Spain are now being monitored daily for new academic job openings. This means that the publication of any tenure track (ayudante doctor or lector), tenure (titular or agregat) or full professor (catedratico) position in any public university in Spain will be posted here simultaneous to their publication on the university website or official gazette. The process is automated and will not rely on human intervention. This means that our homepage table will change everyday, with new positions posted and old positions retired once the application deadline has passed. We only publish tenure track or tenured positions, and ignore the temporary teaching positions.

The speed at which positions are posted and retired has been evident in the 25 days since this website has been functioning. We started on 7 September 2026 with 125 positions in 4 universities. This week we passed 200+ positions and today, we have 320 positions from all 50 public Spanish universities.

    • Thank you Victor. We really appreciate this feedback, and since the web is in beta, it is possible that we miss some calls. However in this case I think the monitoring system has worked correctly. Faculty Radar will only post postions that applicants can still apply for. We do not post positions associated with the health care system (vinculados) …. although we may do this later. Therefore, with this criteria, I believe it is correct. Please follow up with any more questions.
